Default Red wine or food supplements.

There are a lot of information about the profit of the red wine. One can write the long list of the useful qualities of the red wine. But it is the drink which contents some amount of alcohol. And the alcohol in particular can cause the big damage to man's organism. It is the best to use food supplements instead the red wine or not?

Experts quote the beneficial effects of red wine. There is some ingredient in red wine that is not found in white wine or other alcohol, something to do with the color, I believe. But because alcohol has other detrimental effects, they warn against drinking too much. I don't believe that the secret ingredient is found in food supplements.

Red wine is good for our blood circulation, but too much of it is dangerous too. Supplements are good too but you should consult first on your doctor for the right supplements to take.

The health benefit from red wine comes from Resveratrol. The same component can be found in grapes and elsewhere. I'd be careful with the alcohol thing. I know from experience that its easy to fool oneself on the amount that can be consumed and still benefit. Better find your Resverstrol somewhere else besides wine, if you ask me.

The two beneficial compounds in red wine are resveratrol and oligo-proanthocyanins(OPCs). OPCs are responsible for almost all the benefits attributed to red wine. They are freely available in grape skin, aubergines, green peppers and green tea - no alcohol required!

Why take a pill when you can get everything you're after (and a bit more) from whole foods?

Regards, Marek

Taking one glass of red wine as an appetizer everyday is good for the heart, it is said that wine improves the circulatory system of the body preventing radical damage to arteries and organs.
But try not to make it more than 1 glass or getting inebriated with wine because it can be harmful.

Hi,

Red wine has valuable medicinal properties. Many medical studies have showed multiple health benefits of red wine, including lowered risks of stroke, colorectal tumors, some types of cancers, senile dementia, and even the common cold.

I would just stress that a key factor in using wine for its benefits, would be moderation. But then that's a principle that can be applied to many things in life.
